About
New England singer/songwriter Jonathan Sarty has performed regionally and throughout New England over the last decade. Perhaps most well known as the leader of his band the White Mountain Boys, Sarty has a wide range of material consisting mainly of classic American music from old time country and honky tonk to soul, gospel, and rhythm and blues.
Sarty’s original music stands alone. Lyrically not one word is without purpose. Though strongly influenced by his predecessors in American music history Sarty’s songs have a flavor all their own, with intelligent arrangements driven by solid guitar work.
Following the release of his debut all original CD in 2006 featuring the talents of the White Mountain Boys, Sarty led his group to greater success and made appearances throughout Nashville at several well known Nashville Venues. Sarty and his band were invited to participate
in Nashville’s Country Music Fanfare as guests at the Fan Fare Exhibition Hall.
